Can I get a refund if I need to cancel?

Registrations are non-refundable.

If ANY situation arises to prevent you from attending your Encounter weekend please read the following instructions.
1. You may gift or sell your registration to another person only for the Encounter weekend that your registration was for.
2. If you sell or gift your registration to another person, please contact our Registration Care Team at 417-501-0671 immediately to cancel your registration and the new Attendee must contact the Care Team to get registered immediately before the Encounter Weekend.
3. If you do not sell or gift your registration it becomes a donation to Encounter Ministry. If you would like to receive a tax donation credit, please send an email BEFORE the Encounter weekend that you are canceling with your name and physical address information to Registration@EncounterMinistry.org

If I have to cancel my Encounter weekend, can I transfer my registration to another Encounter weekend?

Registrations are not transferable to another weekend.

Can I drive and provide my own transportation to the camp for an Encounter Weekend?

No, Encounter Ministry will provide transportation for everyone from the Civic Center to the camp Friday evening, and from the camp to the Civic Center Sunday evening. For May Men's Encounter transportation will be provided Thursday and Saturday.

Will I need to purchase anything during my Encounter weekend?

There is nothing required for you to purchase although we will have optional Encounter Apparel to purchase on Friday evening at the Civic Center and select apparel items will be available for purchase at the camp. We accept both cash and credit/debit cards.

Also, there are soda machines at camp to purchase bottled soda after Friday evening is finished and throughout the weekend. Soda machines accept change and $1 bills only.

There will be bibles available for purchase at the camp as well. We accept both cash and credit/debit cards.

How many meals are included during my Encounter weekend?

There will be 6 catered meals during your weekend. This includes a Friday evening sandwich meal upon arrival, and a Sunday lunch meal before leaving camp.

Do you have specialized foods at the Encounter weekends for those that have special food needs?

Sorry, we do not. We have a variety of meats, vegetables,  fruits, and desserts, on our menu throughout the weekend provided by our caterers. If you need specialized foods, you are welcome to bring pre-prepared meals/foods with you to camp.

What type of clothing should I wear during my Encounter weekend?

Comfortable, casual, modest, clothing is best. You may want to bring a jacket as it is sometimes cool during the sessions.

What are the dates for all upcoming future Encounters and events?

How do I find a Post Encounter location nearest to me?

All Post Encounter locations, names of the Post Leaders, dates, times, addresses, and phone numbers, are listed on our website under the “Post Encounter” tab on our Home page.
